English 326: Digital Rhetoric

Rhetoric has traditionally been interested in persuasion, in how we use language and other symbol systems to move others to act, think, or feel. The digital age allows us to adapt and build upon previous understandings of rhetoric while also challenging us to develop new understandings. Toward these ends, we will take up many aspects of digital culture both critically and productively so that we can better use digital technologies toward our own rhetorical ends, particularly as writers aiming to contribute to an engaging and ethical digital world.
