This assignment serves to collect your research work. Through your research on your issue, you should find at least ten sources. Your annotated bibliography (submitted via email as a .doc file or similar) should include the following:
- Your first page should be an APA title page.
- On the second page, start with “Annotated Bibliography” in bold and centered at the top of the page. After that, skip a line and write a one paragraph introduction (minimum 100 words) that explains what topic you are covering in your research.
- Next, proceed through your sources. For each source, you should include APA citations and annotations. The sources should be listed in alphabetical order based on the authors’ last names.
- Your annotations should be one or two paragraphs for each source (minimum 150 words per source). You should offer a quick analysis of the source, identifying the main purpose or argument of the source and generally explaining how it supports and develops the argument. You are also welcome to comment on how the source fits into your understanding of the topic overall.
AI
The default expectation is that you are not using AI on our assignments this semester. If you are going to grow and develop as a writer, you are better off doing the work yourself, even if there are aspects of our assignments you find challenging. Working through the challenge makes for better learning. If you use AI in any way as you work on an assignment, you should note this in your assignment submission, explaining how you used it.
